Long Acre Barn is a flexible wedding venue for both formal and informal weddings. There’s a long barn, a two storey granary, an orchard, a lawn, and a ‘Log Store’ that creates a really relaxed vibe and is an outdoor venue in itself. So, whether you are looking for a small and intimate affair, or a large scale celebration, Long Acre Barn creates plenty of locations to say ‘I do’.
As Long Acre Barn sits alongside the Addison’s farm, the family make sure your day is awesome. They don’t have a wedding every day, and it’s certainly not an everyday venue. It is tranquil, calming, and gives you plenty of time and space to prepare for your big day.
Full of charm, the barn and the two story granary have been sensitively restored to retain the heritage and character of yesteryear and they are flooded with natural light from the two large barn doors, making it perfect for pictures.
Timber from the farm has been used throughout – including the staircase, the quirky bar and the huge pergola on the patio. Both the barn and the patio make the most of the reclaimed sandstone flags and you’ll also find farming antiquities have been cleverly incorporated as features.
The patio is an ideal place to gather for drinks and a catch up, and at the top of the lawn, the Log Store is a fun and funky covered space with a fire pit and lights – perfect for a festival outdoor feel, often used for bands, BBQ’s, hog roasts and street food vans.
Whether you have a small wedding or a large party, it will still feel very intimate and is exclusively yours. And with a cottage next door, bridal parties can stay the night, getting ready for the big day – and to stop over as the new Mr & Mrs.
Wedding parties can comfortably seat 150 for breakfast and up to 225 for more casual events.
